The locomotive of the passenger train Sofia-Blagoevgrad had an accident at the station in Blagoevgrad, BNT reported.< /p>
Upon arrival, the driver attempted a maneuver to move the locomotive when smoke and sparks started coming from underneath. A team of the fire department was called to the scene, but there was no ignition.
The press center of the Bulgarian Railways reported to BNT that the passengers had already left the train and the carriages had been disconnected from the locomotive when the accident occurred.
There is no train delay, NKŽI adds.
Due to the departure and relocation of the locomotive, the crossing at the Gramada district of Blagoevgrad was closed for a short time.
