September 11 is the date by which the CEC will register the parties and coalitions for participation in elections. This is the watershed date because of the sharp internal collisions, upheavals and disintegration in some of the leading political forces.
This is what he told "Focus“ the sociologist Elena Darieva.
In her words, despite Kornelia Ninova's statement that there is a risk that the party will not be able to register for the elections, despite the difficult processes that are going on in it, the BSP will not allow problems with its registration and according to the sociologist there, the last word will be of their control bodies.
"If we assume that we currently have 17 formations, perhaps the next parliamentary group of the BSP with the 51st National Assembly will be a group of leaders. This is very problematic and risky, especially since all analysts who know the processes in the BSP so deeply express skepticism that the BSP, when it has to unite, usually falls apart,” she added.
According to her, the major conflict on the political scene, which will have the greatest impact on what will happen in the next National Assembly, remains the DPS. There is a battle for the identity of the DPS, where the big question is: did the DPS manage to exclude Delyan Peevski and his supporters, since Peevski himself stated that he does not recognize the decision of the Central Operational Bureau?
"The DPS Charter turned out to be one of the most readable readings this summer. I think it's already a bestseller. According to Ilhan Kyuchuk, the role and will of Dogan should be respected exlegia, i.e. automatic occurrence of the fact without the need for any additional actions. I expect that this case will eventually reach the court and be resolved there. I also expect to see an appeal of this decision.“
The sociologist also expressed the opinion that it is possible for both wings of the DPS to appear in the upcoming vote through other registered mandate-bearing parties, so that they would still have the opportunity to participate in the elections. “The only certainty from today's point of view is that as a result of this crisis, DPS will in all probability suffer electoral damage,” thinks Elena Darieva.
