Movement for Rights and Freedoms of Ahmed Dogan has submitted a request to the Patent Office for registration of the brand “DPS– Rights and freedoms“, BNR revealed.
The Patent Office confirmed that there is a request to preserve the brand “DPS“ from July 29 this year. The department informs that the necessary state fees for requesting expertise have been paid in relation to the request.
The applicant is the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, a political organization with an address at 4 Alexander Stambolyski Blvd. in the capital. The application has an established submission date and is currently undergoing a formal examination, which aims to establish whether all formal requirements have been met.
If no irregularities are found during the formal examination, a substantive examination will be appointed within two months of its completion.
It is not clear whether the verification will be completed before the registration of the Movement's lists and whether this will affect which of the two DPS formations will register the lists with the CEC.
