“Vazrazhdane” started a fundraising campaign to ensure the protection of the Bulgarian.

His words were prompted by the official written refusal of the acting Prime Minister to provide funds for the legal defense of the Bulgarian Milan Dimitrov, who is lying as a hostage in a prison in Texas.
We remind you that “Revival“ sent an official letter to Glavchev, requesting that our country provide 150 thousand dollars for Dimitrov's lawyer.
After the negative response of the Council of Ministers, from “Revival“ are starting a campaign to collect these funds, “because we will not leave one of our compatriots in the captivity of a criminal regime, such as the Biden regime in the United States. A criminal state terrorist regime.“, as Kostadinov has already stated.
In just a few hours, people's representatives from the political organization donated personal funds in the amount of the BGN equivalent of 10,000 dollars.
The funds were donated by: Kostadin Kostadinov, Angel Georgiev, Tsoncho Ganev, Petar Petrov and Svetoslav Todorov. For now, an American lawyer has been secured who will defend our compatriot.
Milan Dimitrov was held as a hostage for a year and 8 months in a Greek prison, and at the request of the American prosecutor's office he was extradited to the United States. He was extradited rather quickly without warning his relatives. This happened immediately after it became clear that people's representatives from “Vazrazhdane“ have requested a meeting with him in the Greek prison.
Thanks to the inhumane and cruel treatment towards him, the Bulgarian not only has a mental breakdown, but is also in a very bad state of health, as he has been denied the medicines he takes for several diseases from which he suffers. Milan Dimitrov has been confiscated and the breathing machine he sleeps with because he suffers from sleep apnea. The device is in Athens, while Milan is in Texas.
„They don't care if you're hungry, if you're thirsty – the food is not only completely scarce, but inedible. They gave me raw meat instead of bread. The water smells terribly stagnant, has an unpleasant taste.”, reports Milan Dimitrov in a telephone conversation with his relatives a week ago.
We call on all Bulgarian citizens to help the family of Milan Dimitrov to collect the exorbitant amount for his defense. It is obvious that the state is us, its citizens, because for years our rulers have been employees of foreign embassies. Every Bulgarian can fall into a similar situation, because those in power in Bulgaria clearly do not protect our rights. On the contrary, even in Glavchev's letter there is a warning and we from “Vazrazhdane” to be indifferent to the case of an innocent Bulgarian who was held in prison for a year and eight months.
