The new session of the 50th National Assembly opens at 9:00 a.m., the website of the parliament reports, dariknews.bg reported.

The deputies were on summer vacation from August 17 to August 31 of this year, and on August 27 they gathered at an extraordinary meeting to swear in the second official cabinet with Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.

It is also the first Wednesday of the month and according to the rules of the National Assembly, the parliamentary groups propose items that must be included in the agenda.

On the proposal of the parliamentary group (PG) of “Vazrazhdane“ Tomorrow, the National Assembly will discuss a proposal by national representatives to hold a national referendum with the question:

“Do you agree that the Bulgarian lev should be the only official currency in Bulgaria until 2043?“. Deputies from “Vazrazhdane“ signed the draft decision. and “There is such a people“.

Then, at the request of the PG of “BSP For Bulgaria” the parliament will listen to the acting ministers of the environment and water, Petar Dimitrov, of agriculture and food, Georgi Takhov, of energy, Vladimir Malinov, and of regional development and public works, Violeta Koritarova, about the deepening of the water crisis in the country.

At the suggestion of “There is such a people” the draft program for tomorrow includes a draft decision on assigning the Minister of Energy to remove the steam generators from the equipment intended for the "Belene" NPP, which is subject to negotiations for sale to Ukraine, pending the preparation of an analysis of the application of these steam generators for the needs of the NPP “Kozloduy“ .

The PG of the GERB-SDS propose that on the first Wednesday of the month, the parliament consider changes to the Law on the Independent Financial Audit in the second reading.

The draft program of the National Assembly for September 4 and 5 this year. includes a total of 15 points, including a draft decision to elect Boyko Rashkov as the chairman of the parliamentary committee for control over the security services, as well as a discussion of the second reading of changes to the Child Protection Act.
