The culmination is the solemn inspection (dawn) this evening at the Union Square. in Plovdiv.

President Rumen Radev will visit Plovdiv, where he will take part in the ceremonial dawn inspection and receive the rank of honor, the press office of the head of state announced. At 20:45, President Radev will deliver a speech. Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev will also take part in the celebration of the Unification in Plovdiv, the government press service announced.

The 139th anniversary of the Unification of the Principality of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia will be solemnly celebrated with the participation of representative military units, the press center of the Ministry of Defense announced.

In Sofia, the Unification will be celebrated in front of the mausoleum - ossuary of Prince Alexander Battenberg with the participation of a representative military unit from the National Guard. Wreaths will be laid on behalf of the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Defense.

The National Military History Museum (NMMH) will operate with its usual working hours and entrance fees, and especially for its public, the Museum will display the flag under whose banner on September 6, 1885, Major Danail Nikolaev led his subordinate troops to the center of Plovdiv. It is a tricolor with a lion, it was prepared for the Eastern Rumelia Militia, but was not used because of the status of the Province. It is this flag that Major Nikolaev's soldiers kiss before they leave, and the words on it “Union or Death” they take us back to those heroic days when public and human life were defined by the categories of national ideals.
