Rumen Hristov: Things after the elections will be difficult. Probably, a two-party coalition will not be enough - 1

Is there already an answer to the question “what is the real DPS”? Which of the two camps do GERB-SDS choose? Is it possible for GERB mayors to become ministers in a regular cabinet? He commented on these questions on the air of "Hello, Bulgaria". Rumen Hristov from GERB-SDS.
Things after the elections will be difficult, it is expected that there will be more political formations in the parliament. A bipartisan coalition probably won't be enough. The negotiations will be very difficult, but a regular government will be very important. This was stated by Rumen Hristov.
On behalf of the SDF, I can say that what is happening in the DPS is a very unpleasant moment for the democratic forces. When such a division is reached, the formation that experienced it does not become stronger. Most likely, we will see two formations in the next parliament, he clarified.
„I don't feel close to either one or the other ideologically. What I had the opportunity to comment on is that what DPS-Dogan has done over the years for democracy and its attitude to the union of democratic forces – the overthrow of the first SDF government, the support for Georgi Parvanov, the closeness with the BSP and the lack of support for Rosen Zhelyazkov, I give a comment to those who have been in politics longer. But we are not meddling now”, he added.

Regarding the election of a new chief prosecutor. „I don't know why the composition of the SJC was not changed, given that the colleagues from “Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria” had governments. If they had offered it, we would have done it”, claims Hristov.
