Today, at a press conference, it became clear that the chairman of “Vazrazhdane” Dr. Kostadin Kostadinov will lead the party lists in 3 MIR – Varna and 25 MIR – Sofia for the upcoming elections on October 27. Kostadinov, who is a national representative in the 47th, 48th, 49th and 50th National Assembly, emphasized the importance of the consistent work of “Revival” in favor of Bulgarian citizens.
He noted that during the short time of the 50th National Assembly “Revival“ she has been actively working on her promises. “We are the most active political force in introducing bills, in parliamentary work and in committees,” emphasized the chairman of the third political organization in Bulgaria.
As an example, he gave two bills recently adopted on the same day – the guarantee of 24-hour pharmacies or drug vending machines in all settlements and lifetime pensions for the coaches of the Paralympic champions.
Kostadinov also emphasized the importance of the adopted bill, which stops the propaganda of non-traditional sexual orientation in Bulgarian schools and kindergartens. “With this, we set a new European practice, which is already followed by other countries such as Slovakia and Italy,”, he commented.
Kostadinov pointed out that “Revival“ is the only stable political organization at the moment, while other parties are torn by scandals and divisions. “While others are fighting for positions, we are working for the benefit of Bulgarian citizens,” he declared.
Internationally, Kostadinov announced that “Revival“ has successful relations both in the East and in the West. "We are the only Bulgarian political organization that was invited to the BRICS forum and our delegation is about to visit China," he noted. Kostadinov also said that on the initiative of “Vazrazhdane” a new group has been created in the European Parliament – the first in 10 years and for the first time on the initiative of Bulgaria.
In view of what has been achieved so far and the upcoming elections on October 27, Kostadinov said that “Revival“ will bet on familiar faces as list leaders in all 31 multi-member constituencies. “We are followers in our actions and in our promises, with this request we are going to new elections,” Kostadinov said at the end.
