Agency "Road Infrastructure" (API) made an appeal to the Metropolitan Municipality for a faster solution to the situation around the overpass at the cloverleaf on "Bulgaria" Blvd. and the Sofia Ring Road in the direction from Buxton Brothers Blvd. to "Boyana" quarter. With the increasing traffic after the summer vacations and the beginning of the school year, API insists on timely finding solutions for the benefit of the citizens.
API expresses readiness to help by developing and approving a temporary traffic organization that will allow the restoration of passage under the bridge, limiting the speed to 30 km/h and securing the facility with concrete fences, news.bg reported. Despite the many conversations held, API has not yet received a definitive answer from the Metropolitan Municipality regarding the signing of the necessary agreement that would allow the introduction of this temporary organization before the beginning of the school year.
API recalls that according to the Law on Roads, municipal roads must provide transport connections with the republican road network, which is the function of the compromised facility at "Bulgaria" Blvd. and the Sofia Ring Road.
