The large fire that broke out this afternoon in the area of the villa area on 9- and a kilometer near Ruse, BTA reported.
The road section from the exit of the Danube town to the junction for the village of Ivanovo, which was temporarily closed due to heavy smoke, is now open to traffic.

A firefighting team was on the scene until late last night, ready to respond immediately should the fire flare up again.
According to initial information, the fire started in the dry grass and bushes by the road and spread very quickly due to the wind. Fire and police teams were immediately dispatched. A detour route through the villages of Basarbovo and Ivanovo was promptly organized for the cars, and the trucks were waiting on the spot. Police teams regulated the traffic.
