There is no country that has stopped someone from migrating. We are doing very well within what is possible. This opinion was expressed by the MEP from GERB-SDS Iliya Lazarov in "Denyat ON AIR".
"We are perfect in our border protection. The problem is neither in Bulgaria nor in Romania. Austria decides its internal political issues through the veto it imposes on us. When we talk about commissioners, in Bulgaria we often forget that when he becomes a commissioner, he is a commissioner of Europe. The fact that Bulgaria broadcasts its own person does not mean that he is a representative of Bulgaria. It works equally for everyone," commented the guest.
"Ekaterina Zaharieva received a very nice spring. It distributes EUR 90 billion annually. This is also one of the main sectors in Mario Draghi's report if we want to become competitive. In order to catch up with the USA and China, this is the most important resource", Lazarov believes.
According to him, there was an active action against Ekaterina Zaharieva.
"First an article comes out somewhere. It is then passed to a younger and inexperienced colleague. They tried to denigrate. The idea was of the colleagues from "We continue the change" if they could remove Ekaterina Zaharieva so that Yulian Popov could become their candidate, Lazarov specified.
"With "Democratic Bulgaria" we are much closer historically. "We continue the change" are from the coalition. This passes for a pro-European and pro-Atlantic majority. "We continue the change" we know less, but so far we are not impressed with their involvement in politics. We will comply with our major coalition partner if he has this desire, but we are not falling into any great enthusiasm. There are not many political forces in the political market. At the moment we are eating ourselves", Lazarov analyzed.
He defined the mayors in the lists of GERB as a good decision.
"It is strange to them that we hold elections after elections. Our system is not flexible. In most countries, including France, it is not going to the next election, but there are mechanisms so that negotiations are held to achieve a stable government. Our system implies one term, second term, third term... elections. This is one of the defects of the Constitution. I am not a supporter of tampering with the Constitution," Lazarov pointed out.
Regarding the words of the RSM to Bulgaria, the MEP stated that their behavior is deeply provincial and complex.
