Boyko Borisov held a working meeting with the mayors of town halls in Sofia, who won in the first round of the local elections.
The meeting was attended by the regional coordinator of GERB - Sofia Daniela Raycheva, the leader of the list of 23 MIR Raya Nazaryan, the candidates for people's representatives Toma Bikov, Alexander Ivanov, Hristo Gadjev, the mayors of metropolitan areas and town halls, regional coordinators and municipal councilors .
“I want you to go personally to the people in every populated place and guarantee them that if GERB is a convincing winner in the elections, we will solve the problems related to illegal migration. This problem is deepening in Germany and Austria, creating conditions for the return of waves of migrants to the countries where they were first registered, Borisov commented.
According to the chairman of GERB, returning the trust of citizens in all settlements in Sofia is an absolute priority for the party.
“Where there is a problem, we must be with the people and look for a way to help them”, he also commented.
Borisov was adamant that Bulgarian citizens must be convinced with arguments to support GERB in the elections on October 27 if they want security and stability.
