Vice President Iliana Yotova will participate in the XIX Francophonie summit meeting today and tomorrow, the press office of the presidential institution announced, BTA reported.
The forum, which will be held in Paris and at the International Village of the French Language in Villers-Cotre, is on the theme of “Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in French”.
The Vice President will address the plenary session of the Summit. Yotova will participate in round tables dedicated to international challenges and opportunities for cooperation, changes related to the digital age, opportunities for young people in francophone countries.
The Vice President will present Bulgaria's experience in learning the French language – from basic education to doctoral degrees, as well as the initiatives in connection with the 30th anniversary of the country's full membership in the International Organization of La Francophonie, which has 88 member countries.
Official Foreign Minister Ivan Kondov leads the Bulgarian delegation to participate in the 45th session of the Conference of Ministers of La Francophonie, which was held in the French capital Paris on October 3.
