Today we mark a sad anniversary – 50 years since the start of the construction of AM “Hemus”.
Could Highway "Hemus" is it ready yet? Borisov will tell you "yes" and lie again. In 2021, he distributed "advances" for the construction of sections for which there are no projects, for some the routes were not even determined. A little later it became known that 60 million were irretrievably dragged away, hauled away in bags and sacks.

The lord of the asphalt Boyko Borisov is now touring the country again and promises that the construction will finally be completed. And the reality? The lies continue and once again accusations are being thrown at “We Continue the Change“ that nothing has been done about the roads in the last 4 years.
The facts are clear:
• GERD from 2019 to 2021 – built 16 km. highways
• PP from 2021 to 2023 - 34 km built. highways.
What did GERD do?
• During Borisov's time, 1.1 billion were paid in advance to close companies without completed alienations and without guarantees of quality.
• Of these, BGN 60 million were stolen in sacks. An investigation has begun, which is still pending in the occupied prosecutor's office.
What did “Continue the Change“?
• After the administration of Borisov, the expropriations and permits for the construction of the "Hemus" highway were completed.
• The cabinet “Denkov“ signed agreements with the contractors who undertook a guarantee of quality – 7 years for the road part and 12 years for the facilities.
• In the 2024 budget, BGN 233.6 million was allocated for the completion of lots 1, 2, 3 and 9 of the highway.
Over the past 3 years, construction has started to be awarded in a genuine, transparent and legal manner. Today, the work on AM “Hemus” continues – according to the rules, with quality guarantees and without corruption schemes, "We continue the change" states.
