Police start Action “Bought vote” in Kardzhali. There is already one vote trading and pressure signal.
„On the territory of the ODMVR-Kardjali, a specialized police operation is being conducted to counter crimes related to the electoral rights of citizens.
The object of the investigation will be persons who influence the vote of the citizens, as well as objects such as pawnshops and shops, in which usury is carried out and goods are given for sale,” commented on the air of “Hello, Bulgaria” commissioner Atanas Chotrov, head of the “Security Police” in ODMVR-Kardzhali.
According to him, there was a report received about a person influencing the vote of citizens in several Kardjali villages.
Lists of names from the Kardzhali region, the so-called “Bulgarian elves”, appeared yesterday. “These people are known to the law enforcement authorities, but no warning protocols have been issued for them. Measures are being taken in the case”, Commissioner Chotrov also explained.
