Stanimir Mihailov is expected to return to the post of manager of the National Health Insurance Fund this morning, BNT reported.
This is after the decision of the Constitutional Court, which canceled the decision of the parliament for his early release. Mihailov was elected manager of the Health Fund in July 2023
At the end of the same year, he resigned and in April of this year the National Assembly dismissed him from his post, although he had submitted an application to withdraw his resignation. On September 24, the Constitutional Court declared his release unconstitutional. The court decision was published in the State Gazette on October 1. The case was discussed at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Treasury on Friday, but no definite decision was made to reinstate Mihailov.
