Nearly widespread rainfall occurred over the weekend, accompanied in many areas by a temporary increase in wind and thunder activity. On the maps, the lightning that fell on Saturday and Sunday can be seen by the hour, the most during the last 24 hours in the eastern regions and along the Black Sea.
It is snowing again on the highest mountain parts, and the total amounts measured at the stations are about 30 - 40 liters per square meter, in Sofia - 21 liters per square meter.
Today will be sunny across the country with maximum temperatures of 20° up to 25°, in Sofia - about 20°. A light to moderate wind will blow from the west, on the sea coast, where it will also be sunny, from the west-northwest.
At night the wind will weaken. It will be cloudless and minimum temperatures tomorrow in most areas will be lower than today, between 5° and 10°, in Sofia - about 5°, in Eastern Bulgaria and along the Black Sea - about 11 - 12°.
In the morning hours, visibility will be reduced in places, but during the day it will be mostly sunny. There will be a light southerly wind and unlike the minimum, the maximum temperatures will rise and be between 23° and 28°, in Sofia - about 24°, along the Black Sea, where a weak southerly wind will also blow, from 21° to 23°. The excitement of the sea will be weak.
The conditions for hiking in the mountains will be good tomorrow - it will be mostly sunny, with a moderate southwesterly wind.
Sunny will stay until Saturday, warming will continue. More clouds
and local precipitation will occur on Wednesday, when daytime temperatures will slightly and temporarily decrease, and also on Friday, when a new cooling is expected to begin.
