The Board of Directors of the National Association of Grain Producers is expected to hold a meeting today, reported NOVA.
The method proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture for the payment of the second tranche of the "Ukrainian aid" will be discussed.
Earlier this year, it was agreed that 325 million BGN would be paid by September 30. Yesterday, however, the Council of Ministers announced only 200 million, and the rest is proposed to be paid in November.
If the branch organizations do not accept the proposal, active protest actions can be expected, the sector said.
