The official government in a decree approving additional expenses under the budget of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 2024 , the press service of the Council of Ministers announced.
It approves additional costs in the amount of up to BGN 7 million under the budget of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 2024 for financial provision of activities related to the state border, including for repairs and upgrades, as well as for radar system for detection and classification of low-flying objects up to three thousand meters.
BTA recalls that on October 7, Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, together with cabinet officials, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the military, checked with a helicopter the integrity of the obstruction facility on the Bulgarian-Turkish border.
There are no compromised sections of the engineering facility of an obstructing type on the Bulgarian-Turkish state border, and even if there are, they are removed literally in a few hours, Glavchev announced after the inspection.
