US President Donald Trump has threatened Vladimir Putin not to attack Ukraine. “Otherwise, I will hit right in the center of fucking Moscow”, Trump said, as quoted by The Wall Street Journal.
The former president did not say when exactly the conversation took place, but it happened during his tenure in the White House – before the full-scale war that Putin launched against Ukraine in 2022.
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that the Russian Federation would respond and in turn hit Washington if necessary.
„Trump got carried away. Did he really tell us he was going to hit Moscow? Of course not. He is usually smooth as silk in negotiations. And there is only one answer to these words: your sh*t Washington will be hit too. In general, our relations with him are quite warm”, Medvedev pointed out.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, told a news conference that the Kremlin does not disclose the content of Russian President Vladimir Putin's conversations with leaders of other countries. “We still prefer to take a very responsible position by not publishing the content of the talks that are held at the highest level,”, said Peskov. “Unfortunately, a number of state and government leaders do not adhere to this position and in this case do not adhere to this information hygiene”, he added.
Donald Trump, who in just days has a chance to win a new term in the White House, said that if he is re-elected president of the United States, he would end the war in Ukraine “in 24 hours”. Ukrainian and Western representatives are concerned that Trump will effectively give Putin 1/5 of the territory of Ukraine.
