Compared to the end of June, their number increased by 0.4 percent, and their size - by 5.1 percent. Loans of non-financial enterprises at the end of the third quarter of the year were 147,000, decreasing on an annual basis by 2.4 percent. Their amount is BGN 47.360 billion, which is an increase of 8.4 percent on an annual basis. Compared to the end of the previous quarter, the number of loans to the sector decreased by 0.3 percent, and their size increased by 1.3 percent. The three sectors with the largest shares in the total amount of credits for the sector are trade; auto and motorcycle repair (28 percent), manufacturing (21.1 percent), and real estate operations (11.1 percent). As of the end of September, the total amount of loans was dominated by those over BGN 1 million with a share of 75.5 percent.
According to the data, the loans of financial enterprises at the end of the third quarter of 2024 were 1,047, increasing on an annual basis by 5.9 percent. Their amount is BGN 8.267 billion, with an increase of 12.1 percent on an annual basis. Compared to the end of the previous quarter, the number of these loans increased by 4.7 percent, and their size - by 2.8 percent. As of the end of September, the total amount of loans was dominated by those over BGN 1 million with a share of 99.1 percent.
The number of loans to non-financial, financial enterprises and households and NTOOD at the end of the third quarter increased by 0.4 percent on an annual basis, and their total amount - by 13.7 percent, the data show.
According to the statistics for this period, the number of deposits of the three sectors increased on an annual basis by 0.9 percent, and their total amount - by 9.7 percent.
The deposits of non-financial enterprises at the end of September were 630,000, which is an increase of 1.7 percent compared to the end of the same month in 2023. At the end of the third quarter of the year, the amount of these deposits was BGN 45.270 billion. and on an annual basis it grew by 7 percent. Compared to the end of June, their number increased by 1 percent, and their size - by 2.3 percent.
The three sectors with the largest shares in the total amount of deposits for the sector are trade; automobile and motorcycle repair (25.9 percent), manufacturing (14 percent), and production and distribution of electricity and heat and gaseous fuels (10.3 percent). As of the end of September, the total amount of deposits was dominated by those over BGN 1 million with a share of 59 percent.
Deposits of financial enterprises at the end of September were 7,829 thousand, which is an increase of 5.8 percent compared to the end of the same month last year. At the end of the third quarter of 2024, the amount of these deposits was BGN 3.628 billion, and on an annual basis it increased by 7.3 percent. Compared to the end of June, their number increased by 1.1 percent, and their size - by 6.3 percent. As of the end of September, the total amount of deposits was dominated by those over BGN 1 million with a share of 87.5 percent.
According to the data at the end of the third quarter of the year, the number of household deposits and NTOOD was 8.933 million, which is an increase on an annual basis by 0.8 percent. Their amount at the end of September increased on an annual basis by 11.4 percent and reached BGN 85.140 billion. Compared to the end of the previous quarter, the number of these deposits increased by 0.2 percent, and the size - by 1.6 percent. At the end of September, the total amount of deposits was dominated by those with an amount of over BGN 50,000 to 100,000 with a share of 18.9 percent.
