They busted a mini printing press for fake banknotes in Sofia, they confirmed for "Focus" from the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 2 criminals were detained. One is a 34-year-old employee of a commercial establishment. The other – 27-year-old who was responsible for forging the banknotes.
The nominal value of the counterfeit money is nearly BGN 100,000
During a search of the younger man's home, euro and leva banknotes were found, as well as a bottle containing a powdery substance.
The two were detained for a period of 24 hours.
