“It is not surprising that neither Nazaryan, neither Tsekov managed to gather a majority,” said PP-DB co-chairman Asen Vassilev.
“What I think is the right way to continue the process from now on is to unite around a legislative program - in the next three months which laws should be passed. We have said - these are the state budget, the anti-corruption laws, the electoral code, and when there is a clear legislative program, a person must be elected who will make a commitment that it will happen within the stipulated time frame,”, Vassilev also said on the sidelines of the parliament .
Vasilev added that the two candidacies for the election of the President of the National Assembly are currently absolutely equal.
“We do not agree with Prime Minister Borisov and our voters supported him. We are the only ones who made two governments, this was done in a complicated situation, and it all starts with the legislative program, - what will be done for the Bulgarian citizens and in what terms”, Vassilev also said.
