We are fighting against the model of "DPS - New Beginning" and I don't know what kind of opposition he will be when, under the Law on the Judiciary, he votes together with the BSP and GERB to eliminate half of "Vazrazhdane"'s proposals for judicial reform. This was stated in the studio of "The Day Begins" on BNT by the deputy chairman of the PG of "Vazrazhdane" Petar Petrov.
Petrov also commented on the bill submitted by the "Vazrazhdane" a bill through which water supply and sanitation companies will be able to leave the Bulgarian Water Association only after a decision of the municipal councils.
"We first introduced this bill in February in the 49th National Assembly, after we made an analysis of how the water supply and sanitation sector in Bulgaria is developing. We introduced such a bill that not only allows municipal water supply and sanitation companies to leave with a decision of the municipal councils, but also to join if they wish. Why did we propose it? Because it became clear that in fact the municipalities invest in the water supply and sanitation network, the state invests in the water supply and sanitation network with the capital program, and in fact the one who uses the network is the water supply and sanitation company and the one who does the work and receives the money for this is the regional association of water supply and sanitation companies," he explained.
