Dragomir Stoynev: The election of Kiselova was a deal to stabilize the political situation

As if for the first time in a long time, the Bulgarian society has the feeling that the right person has been found for the appointed place. Until now, it seems that especially the positions on the high levels of power were taken by politically loyal people, while here we really supported a person from civil society, a person from the changed BSP, which is extremely important, commented one of the deputy chairmen of the National Assembly

Dragomir Stoynev: The election of Kiselova was a deal to stabilize the political situation - 1

We have by no means made a deal with the devil. It was a deal to stabilize the political situation.

This is what the MP from the "BSP-United Left" told the BNR. Dragomir Stoynev - Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, regarding the election of Natalia Kiselova as parliamentary speaker.
"The political crisis is still in no way resolved until the National Assembly casts a majority to support a government for the next 4 years," he pointed out. And added:

"It is as if for the first time in a long time, the Bulgarian society has the feeling that the right person has been found for the appointed place. Until now, it seems that especially the positions on the high levels of power were taken by politically loyal people, while here we really supported a person from civil society, a person from the changed BSP, which is extremely important.

Borisov stated that he must return the gesture and fulfill his promise, commented Stoynev and recalled the time when the BSP raised and supported Vezhdi Rashidov in order to unravel the crisis then. According to him, this is statesmanlike thinking:

"GERD took a step back necessary for the first stage to make the NC work. The support of GERB was extremely important.
The BSP is the fifth political force - we cannot be expected to solve all the problems in the country, the deputy was categorical in an interview for the program "Sunday 150". According to him, in order to solve the crisis, it would be good if the first and the second started talking to each other. According to him, there is no way to have a government without the participation of either the first, or the second, or both political forces together.

"We are the only left-wing party in the Bulgarian parliament. There are enough right-wing parties with whom GERB and PP-DB can talk and form a coalition. If they can't manage, if they can't find a solution, they can always turn to the oldest, most sensible political force, and we can possibly help in the interest of the state, because we have always proposed and supported sensible proposals . But this is the last stage of the conversation", commented Dragomir Stoynev, adding:

"Until the first two political forces start talking to each other, I don't see how the political crisis will be resolved".

According to him, it is normal at this stage not to invite them. It is normal to understand GERD with PP-DB plus ITN and APS as well.

"Everyone needs to take a step back. We call on all right-wing forces to find a solution", said the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament. He recalled the many problems to be solved and emphasized that the 8th election is not the best option.

Stoynev noted that currently the first two posts in the state are connected to the BSP.

"BSP shows change. BSP opens up to civil society. BSP relies on policies, dialogue, experience and reason. We are not saying that we are immediately going to negotiate a government. Let the top two political forces solve their problems. If they do not solve them - it is extremely irresponsible, there will be no government and we are going to early elections. If they get along, they get to choose who to invite. Entering a government without clear priorities and a program, we cannot make a commitment", he commented.

According to him, DPS-NN is preparing for elections. However, according to him, it will be quite difficult for the BSP to motivate its voters. The BSP believes that there must be a government and it is necessary at this moment. We need to stabilize the economy, our foreign-economic relations and be very attentive to what is happening, the BSP deputy explained.

"I strongly hope that GERB and PP-DB realize how serious the situation is and precisely for this reason they lend a hand or at least sit at the same table".
