We have already made all possible compromises, whether requests, we have made all concessions. Let's see what the statesmanship of the others is – they are also responsible for what will happen in Bulgaria, commented the deputy chairman of the GERB-SDS parliamentary group Denitsa Sacheva, former social minister, in an interview with BNR.
When asked whether GERB-SDS will ask for a guarantee, such as signed documents to ensure a governing majority, she said:
"We want to enter into talks for a stable government, which implies a relevant coalition agreement. For us, the talks should end with a coalition agreement for a 4-year management mandate", Sacheva is categorical.
And he declared that the mandate from President Rumen Radev will be given to Borisov, "because the structures have decided on the subject":
"This is our candidate for prime minister and we have no other political solutions. We have not started talks to make new successive concessions."
The Minister of Social Affairs in the Cabinets "Borisov" recommended:
"Let's stop talking with the ridiculous "uncorking" and "assemblies", because with such a vocabulary we make politics a laughing stock in front of the citizens."
Sacheva admitted:
"We expect PP-DB to come out and say whether they want a government, not their different conditions. These things are being negotiated, we are waiting to see if there are people in the PP-DB who want a majority and a stable government. If they want, they will sit at the table and put their terms there, not in front of the media. Everything else is political marketing, in which we do not want to participate."
She claims that Bulgaria will get better "when there is talk and negotiations".
"And in the course of them, other candidacies for prime minister may arise. But only when we have negotiations for a government, otherwise it doesn't make sense", explained Sacheva.
And he pointed out that GERB-SDS did not make a deal and did not want anything in return for the support for the election of Assoc. Nataliya Kiselova for President of the National Assembly.
"We have not had such conversations and for us politics is not a deal, the behavior of GERB-SDS clearly showed that for us politics is a compromise in the name of stable governance of the country. We supported Nataliya Kiselova because BSP asked for support and that brought back normalcy in politics – parties to talk and ask for support. This showed respect, not to achieve the goals with brute pressure", explained Denitsa Sacheva.
About the proposed change in the Judiciary Act by PP-DB, she explained that at the moment there is no need for the instability to be transferred to the entire country. At the moment, GERB-SDS experts are analyzing the PP-DB proposal.
Regarding the situation in Syria, Sacheva commented that it could have an impact on domestic politics in our country, as far as a wave of refugees can be expected.
"The situation should be carefully analyzed and experts should give a proposal for our reaction. In the National Assembly, colleagues from an external committee will perhaps propose a declaration in the plenary hall. And for listening to the prime minister and heads of departments, it will be discussed at the presidential council," she said.
For the draft budget for 2025. believes that "we need to talk about the efficiency of payments and what we can do to improve payments and reduce the shadow economy":
"All measures must lead to an improvement in the sense of justice in our system. Measures that are effective and workable can be discussed because in a country where politicians do not guarantee stability, to start raising taxes and insurance is an unreasonable decision."
