The parliament is expected to hear Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and Ministers Ivan Kondov and Atanas Ilkov on the measures the government is taking to guarantee security in connection with the processes in the Middle East and in particular in Syria, BTA reported.
The request for a hearing is included in the draft work program of the MPs, published on the website of the National Assembly. The submitters are Atanas Zafirov and Borislav Gutsanov from "BSP-United Left".
The parliament is also expected to hear Acting Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov on the expansion of the capacity of "Chiren UGS" and the impact of the investigation initiated by the European Public Prosecutor's Office on the deadlines for completing the project. The request was submitted by Kiril Petkov and deputies from "Continuing Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB).
The first item on the proposed agenda for today provides for the termination of the powers of the Member of Parliament Tervel Georgiev in connection with his resignation.
