Raya Nazaryan: A government can be formed with the first mandate - 1

Our priority is the stability of Bulgaria and the formation of a regular government. After the turbulent processes of electing the Speaker of the National Assembly, the political formations sat down to talk. And we are starting talks about forming a regular government.

This was stated to BNT by the Deputy Chairperson of the GERB-SDF Parliamentary Group Raya Nazaryan.

According to her, everyone's responsibility is very important, because after the seventh early parliamentary elections in a row, all efforts must be made in this direction:

"For his part, the president also stated that he is ready to give time so that we can work in this direction. Each political formation has its own narrow party priorities. We also have those, but here we must look for the topics that bring us together and that are nationwide and must be approached responsibly," explained Nazaryan.

She listed some of the main priorities that none of the formations could say have contradictions - these are public finances, financial stability, the country's security - internal and external, investments, as well as filling the positions of all regulatory bodies.

"These are some main topics and priorities that unite and which are the beginning of a stable configuration. These partners that we have outlined as potential partners for a future coalition, which will not be easy, it will be a difficult coalition, but it is possible, we have talked with them not for the first time," specified Raya Nazaryan.

She expressed hope that a government can be formed with the first mandate, and not with the second and even less with the third. She announced that talks with political forces that would potentially support a first-term government will begin tomorrow. She is convinced that support for a cabinet must be confirmed by a coalition agreement.
