Plamen Dimitrov: Only some sectors receive serious increases - 1

"Some sectors only receive serious increases. For all the others who receive money from the budget, a horizontal policy on debts of 10% is proposed. Which is good, but it will not make them super happy. Let me remind you that in the last month alone there were a number of protests from various agencies and structures. If you remember a month ago, the people who de facto monitor and control the "Kozloduy" NPP receive 1500-1600 leva. I don't know if they will be very happy with 10%, but they will certainly be better than nothing".

This is how the President of the Confederation of Bulgarian Trade Unions Plamen Dimitrov commented on next year's budget to NOVA.

"Let's not transfer the problem from the sick head to the healthy one. What the same politicians have been working on is for them to decide at the moment how and why some will get a 50-70% increase and others will not. Whether it is fair - I don't know, I am the last one to say to reduce someone's salary", commented Dimitrov.

According to him, the biggest expense that is increasing is not salaries, but capital expenses.
"Capital expenses, with an expected implementation of less than 7 billion for this year, will be 14 billion for next year. In plain language - of these 20 billion more, one third is capital expenses," he explained.
