Bulgarian winger Kiril Despodov and his colleague from the POAK attack - Brazilian Tyson, are returning to the squad for the match against AEK, which is on Wednesday, announced the head coach of the Greek champions Razvan Lucescu, Topsport reported.

The two missed last night's victory over Panetolikos in the 15th round of the local Super League, and it became clear to Despodov that he was struck down by a virus in the hours before the team left for Agrinio.

Despodov fell ill, missed a difficult victory for PAOK

The champions won with a goal in the 87th minute.

Without him, Tyson and Austrian midfielder Thomas PAOK struggled and came to a difficult victory with 1:0, and the only goal was scored by the left winger Madi Kamara.

With this success, PAOK has 30 points, the same as the leader Olympiacos, whose match of the round is today as a guest of the last in the standings Kallithea.

PAOK is visiting Athens in the first quarter-final of the Greek Cup tournament. The match on December 18th is at 21:00, and the return match is scheduled for January 9th at the Toumba Stadium in Athens.

" We have to find a way to react and win matches like this on the weekend. While we play during the week, the other teams rest and prepare for the matches. This is not easy. Now we played with a very good team with quality, speed and freshness above all. In my opinion, Panetolikos is the best team in Greece after the top four in the standings".

"It was a difficult match for us because we wasted a lot of energy against Ferencváros on Thursday. I am happy for the victory, for how the team fought, despite the mistakes we made. We did not lose our minds despite the opponent's chances and in the end we were rewarded with a goal".

Finally, the Romanian specialist confirmed that Despodov and Taison are scheduled for Wednesday's match in Athens, and if everything goes well, they will travel with the team tomorrow.
