The GERB-SDF talks for a cabinet with the first mandate continue, BNT reported.
In the first round of negotiations with "Democratic Bulgaria", they discussed the possibility of forming a broad parliamentary majority supporting a regular government with an anti-corruption and pro-European profile – with ensured stability and without floating majorities.
The DB presented its legislative priorities from the Declaration for a "sanitary cordon" around Delyan Peevski and their inclusion in the parliament's program and in a comprehensive coalition agreement. Today, negotiations continue with both the DB and the "BSP - United Left", separately. Among the topics discussed will be measures for budget consolidation, judicial reform and combating corruption, as well as specific expert talks on individual sectors. The ITN still does not have a date and time for a meeting with GERB-SDF, but they have firmly confirmed that they will respond when they are officially invited
President Rumen Radev will hand over the first mandate after the New Year.
