The mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev has invited the protesters from the Sofia transport sector to a meeting in Sofia Municipality, it became known at the action in front of the “Zemlyane“ garage, reports novini.bg.
The protesters announced that they agree to meet with the mayor of Sofia. The Vice President of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) Todor Kapitanov said that there is no logic in refusing the assistance offered by the mayor.
Representatives of the protesters from the transport sector are heading to the Municipality and are putting the public transport lines, which were blocked until now, into operation. The movement of the bus lines with the numbers: x9, x10, 11, 42, 44, 47, 49, 54, 56, 59, 61, 63, 64, 66, 77, 83, 84, 102, 107, 108, 111, 260, 304, 802, 803 and 805 is being restored.
From 4:00 a.m., about 150 workers from "Stoliche Autotrans" stopped the movement of the lines with a request to start negotiations and conclude a Collective Labor Agreement (CLA).
