No agreement was reached with „Democratic Bulgaria“ on the personal composition of the future government and the name of the candidate for Prime Minister. This became clear at today's meeting of the GERB – UDF, Democratic Bulgaria, BSP – United Left and ITN negotiation teams in the National Assembly, the GERB press center announced.
After „Democratic Bulgaria“ refused to support the first nomination of GERB – UDF in the person of Boyko Borisov for Prime Minister, GERB – UDF nominated Rosen Zhelyazkov. Today, „Democratic Bulgaria“ also rejected the second nomination. As a result, GERB – UDF terminates negotiations.
GERB – UDF thanks the BSP – United Left and ITN teams for their participation in the negotiations and for the constructive tone on their part.
