And she added that she expects the criteria for our admission to the eurozone to be fulfilled. “After the last criterion for price stability is fulfilled, I expect requests for extraordinary convergence reports to be submitted. We ended with a deficit in 2024, which is within the 3% criterion. The expectations are for the adoption of the budget for 2025 and for our country to be a member of the eurozone from January 1, 2026“, the caretaker minister also said.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister-designate Rosen Zhelyazkov presented the composition of his cabinet to the president. Today, the parliament will vote on the proposed composition of the government.
