Masked men tried to kidnap a man in the village of Nedan, Pavlikeni municipality, the police reported.
The incident occurred on March 13 at the victim's home.
Early in the morning, he was attacked by two masked men who sprayed him with spray and tried to force him into a car.
After fierce resistance from the man, their attempt was left incomplete and they left the home.
After an investigation, the perpetrators were caught - 30 and 34 years old from Pavlikeni.
They have been brought in as defendants. One was arrested for 72 hours, and the other was given a cash bail of 1,000 leva.
