Gabriel Valkov: The entry of "Velichye" into the National Assembly complicates the situation - 1

The political situation is complicated, but it has been complicated over the past 4 years, this is nothing new. The majority of the ruling coalition is still preserved. This was said in the program "Face to Face" on BTV by the MP from the "BSP - United Left" Gabriel Valkov in connection with the decision of the Constitutional Court that 16 MPs were elected illegally and the party "Velichye" enters parliament.

The entry of "Velichye" complicates the entire political situation, which is already complicated. From now on, we rely on all political forces to support our reasonable proposals, because I do not think that sending Bulgaria to elections is reasonable, said Valkov.

For the BSP, the entry of "Velicie" is not a problem, but their behavior is extreme and anti-systemic, and this always hinders a normal democracy. There is no way the Bulgarian parliament can work adequately when someone sabotages the work inside, the socialist emphasized.

The decision of the Constitutional Court cannot be appealed, nor should it be commented on, but the problem, in my opinion, is in the 780 votes that were annulled. The question is where are the ballots. These are questions for the regional administrations, the mayors and all the bodies responsible for the normal conduct of the election process, added Gabriel Valkov.

The government remains, it has 121 votes, there are governments that had 120 votes and managed to last a year and a half. The conversation is closed until a party decides to leave, but so far we do not see such intentions. It is normal for there to be tension in a government. The situation is complicated, but we are fighting to return normality, to have a normal budget, he noted.

In his words, the BSP wants changes to the Electoral Code, which will make the election process more transparent.

It is important that this debate be held with both society and all parties. This government must take serious political responsibility to change the Electoral Code and have a more normal election process, Valkov added.
