A video instruction for action in times of crisis and disaster, calling on Europeans to accumulate an emergency reserve for 72 hours, published by European Commissioner Hadja Labib, has created a wave of anxiety and concern throughout Europe. At the same time, with the participation of the EC and state leaders, intensive diplomatic shuttles and various formats of conversations continue, from which Bulgaria does not receive sufficient and reliable information about the future.
It is unacceptable when a European Commissioner makes a video address that is on the verge of parody and at the same time terribly serious, to leave people alone with their fears and concerns. What kind of security, guaranteed with a pocket knife and a packet of crackers, is the European Commission talking about? If the European Commission does not speak - who speaks?
This was stated in a position published on the social network by the leader of "DPS- Novo Nachola" Delyan Peevski. Here are more of Peevski's words:
All these answers are owed to the people by the Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, who, as we were informed, participates in some way in these meetings in Paris, Brussels, etc.
We saw how with “Niki wants to travel” a government has failed, it is time for a new beginning in the relations between the government and the people and full and honest information about what is happening and what is to come.
For the sake of all our voters who flooded our phones with calls, worried about what they read and see mostly on social media, for the sake of all the people in Bulgaria, we need to know the truth about the state of the EU, about Bulgaria's place, and, first of all - about what is to come, what depends on us and how peace will be sought and guaranteed. So that both Bulgaria and Europe can have it in the future.
