„We Continue the Change“ sent a signal to the European Prosecutor's Office, calling for action to be taken to investigate the data presented by the European Prosecutor Teodora Georgieva to the media about the exercise of coercion and pressure on her by Delyan Peevski in an unfinished criminal proceeding led by the European Prosecutor's Office regarding the financing of the expansion of an energy infrastructure facility - the "Chiren" gas field. This is stated in an official statement of the formation sent to the media.
The presented data contain allegations by European Prosecutor Teodora Georgieva that Delyan Peevski was involved in the lawful conduct of the investigation by the European Prosecutor's Office authorities, as he was pressure on a European prosecutor not to carry out actions within the scope of his office. The alert states that the public statements of the European prosecutor contain data that the same person Delyan Peevski is a potential perpetrator of a crime regarding putting pressure on contractors of a project financed with European funds, in order to obtain property benefits, with the drilling of the expansion being carried out not according to the approved assignment and safety methods.
The alert insists that, if necessary, action be taken to request the immunity of the MP Delyan Peevski through a request to the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria.
