We have experienced the biggest political crisis since the Liberation of the country - the series of elections. This brings some fatigue with it. Regarding the parliamentary configuration and the parties that make up the coalition, which of them has an interest in going to new elections? If new elections are held, each of the parties will have a weaker result and will not end up in a better parliamentary configuration. The situation with the opposition is not better - it is fragmented. PP-DB and “Vazrazhdane” cannot counteract in any way, nor are they any alternative, he explained.
The situation in the Balkans is quite worrying. There is also social tension in Bulgaria, but it is fragmented like the opposition. They cannot be channeled as it happened in Serbia. The first factor is the political crisis, and ultimately some convincing economic indicators must be given, the political scientist emphasized.
Something unforeseen may happen that will awaken the tension, this cannot be predicted, Ganev pointed out.
