Peevski took control of the last institution, and put the DANS trophy in his showcase. This will clear his path to the prime minister's post, said Valentin Tonchev from Dogan's DPS in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio.
In the program "Nedelya 150" he admitted that in their DPS there was a proposal to create a commission to examine the facts about the bankrupt Corpbank and "Bulgartabac" and to produce a report for referral to the prosecutor's office:
"We didn't do it for several months because Dzhevdzhet Chakarov was on the side that it wasn't the right time. And now it's clear why. There is no longer an obstacle and we will work to expose it so that the public knows what Peevski's deeds are."
Tonchev claims that "his plan is currently in action - Peevski's, to put his own man at SANS in order to become prime minister. And the way is to control all key institutions":
"A prosecutor general, head of the State Prosecutor's Office, head of the Supreme Arbitration Court, Supreme Judicial Council with an expired mandate and all these grips are aimed at serving Peevski faithfully and opening the way for him to the prime minister's post and to get out of Magnitsky. Peevski knows that this goes through his confirmation through the post of prime minister."
Valentin Tonchev explained that those from the old leadership of the MRF have no reason to leave, because "after Dzhevdzhet Chakarov voluntarily gave the keys to Peevski, he took control of the party":
"Peevski, just as he destroyed Corpbank and Bulgartabac, has also passed the last barrier to the complete destruction of the party. And our expectations are that the party will fall under the global influence of Magnitsky."
Tonchev pointed out that nearly a million leva of taxpayers' money was redirected to a bank account opened by Peevski with the participation of the state, and it is not clear which bank for this money.
And he stated that the new political formation will be built on the basis of the values and cause of the authentic MRF, and Dogan will again be the face of the party. He will advise them, but will not go out into the political arena and make loud statements.
When asked whether the new formation will work for early elections, Valentin Tonchev, a deputy from MRF-DPS, replied:
"For us, this cabinet has no future, it is the cabinet of corruption, of dependence on the deep and controlled state. There is no way we can support a government with Peevski. I also don't understand Bozhidar Bozhanov, who said that it's not the time for a vote of no confidence. I think every day is a waste of time."
As for whether Dogan's new party will seek cooperation, Tonchev said that it will be based on principles and in the context of European values. "We can have a strategic partnership on strategic topics. DPS cannot go against the national interest of the country", he is categorical.
Tonchev believes that the president has reason to demand a referendum. Because Bulgaria has been in the waiting room of the eurozone for 5 years, and nothing has been done to explain to the people and to dispel their fears about the entry of the euro.
