"The whole story has long resembled a match between „Levski“ and „Real Madrid“ and – – Barcelona“. Things are comprehensive. There were good things inside, but there were also some remarks as things that we must definitely do – such as introducing a fair tax system“. He commented on this in „This Morning“ Dimitar Manolov, president of the "Podkrepa" Confederation of Bulgarian Entrepreneurs, on the adoption of the euro in our country and the reports of the European Central Bank and the European Commission.
„Things are not that dramatic, but we are also at a "Levski"-CSKA match and everyone is shouting for theirs", he added.
„Positive reports. Of course, with possible future risks noted that do not come from changing the denomination, the currency unit – they come from internal mobilization and the country's ability to carry out the necessary structural reforms. So the euro as an opportunity to be used by our country, to bring the benefits that society expects“, commented Dobri Mitrev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Industrial Association.
About the risks to the actual adoption of the euro in terms of price increases, changes in incomes, Dimitar Manolov said – – These things happen necessarily and happen almost everywhere“.
“I don't know what the prices are preparing for. In the conditions of the currency board in which we are, we should only replace one with the other at a ratio of 1.95583“, he commented.
&ndquo;Too many producers and traders are increasing prices – unclear why”, noted Manolov.
Dobri Mitrev emphasized that people's fears should be reduced by the truths about the euro. "We have a fixed exchange rate. The Bulgarian lev is practically a euro", he said.
According to Manolov, politicians have no time left to explain to the people.
"This afternoon, the trade unions have been invited by the Prime Minister to sign an employer memorandum of cooperation for things that we will have to do together,", he announced.
