Radostin Vassilev: The next vote of no confidence should be about the "failure in domestic politics" - 1

The next vote of no confidence in the government should be about the "failure in domestic politics", we have said this to "Continuing the change - Democratic Bulgaria", and to "Melichie", and to "Vazrazhdane".

This was said by the chairman of "Moral, Unity, Honor" (MECH) Radostin Vassilev to journalists in parliament, quoted by BTA.

Unfortunately, I now understand that "Democratic Bulgaria" has said that they are not planning a vote of no confidence before September, which is extremely hypocritical behavior on their part, he added. According to him, MECH does not see any desire from the DB to actually overthrow the government and move towards elections.

Now I understand that GERB, represented by the deputy chairman of the group Kostadin Angelov, has practically lost trust in this minister, from now on there is no way back for Daniel Mitov, commented Radostin Vassilev.

On the occasion of the death of Yavor Georgiev in Varna, the MECH leader commented that this is a relapse, this is already a disease in the Ministry of Interior system. According to him, this is happening because for many years, many politically incompetent appointments have led to a state in which the ministry is "full of incompetents, with a criminal contingent". "Daniel Mitov is the most incompetent minister who has ever appeared in this ministry and he should have left a long time ago, when we all found out in the hall that he was protecting the smuggling channels in Plovdiv, that he was protecting an organized crime group operating on the territory of the Ministry of Interior's Burgas Regional Office, and because there are no angels or demons in the system for him, there are clearly some people who need to be used politically", said Vassilev.

Daniel Mitov should come to parliament, I saw that a request for his hearing has been submitted. Next week is already too late, he also commented.

Vassilev said that MECH will support the "Democratic Bulgaria" bill on body cameras. He pointed out that Prof. Nikolay Radulov spoke on this topic long before the State Security Service heard that there were body cameras.

Regarding the protest announced today by "Vazrazhdane" in front of the GERB headquarters, Radostin Vassilev commented that according to him and his colleagues from MECH this is an agreement between GERB and "Vazrazhdane". The only goal of this protest, which is fictitious, is to position "Vazrazhdane" as a possible opposition entity to GERB, which it is not, he said. "It should be clear to everyone that Kostadinov is a pincher of Boyko Borisov, who is used whenever things get heated", Vassilev said.
