A man complained that he had to walk between Sofia and Vratsa to look for his license, which was confiscated for a month due to a violation. The police explained to him that he would receive it immediately after the sentence expired. The document was collected by the traffic police in Sofia, but had to be returned to Vratsa, where the citizen has a permanent address.

The man went to Vratsa, but was told that it was not sent from Sofia. Thus began the story, which has an interesting sequel. The police claim that they issued the man a document to drive with until they return his license. He claims that there is no such thing.

Martin Ivanov told Nova TV that he committed the violation on January 4. It's about driving and using a phone, as well as frosted windows. He didn't see a stop light, so the police caught up with him. Five months later, he learned by phone that he had been fined and had to return his license to the Sofia Traffic Police. He did so.

The fine came into effect on May 12 and expired on June 13. “I went to the Vratsa Traffic Police on June 13 to get it, because that's where my address is registered. It turned out that the license hadn't arrived”, Ivanov explained.

The police press center stated that they had issued a document to Martin Ivanov, with which he can drive despite not having a license. However, he denies that he was issued such a document.
