Before my final decision to leave "Continue the Change" I informed two members of the party's Executive Council that a senior party cadre had offered me a bribe. I sought help in the hope that together with the leadership of "Continue the Change" we would protect the values that brought us together. There was no reaction, on the contrary, the cadre's work was encouraged and a reward was sought. Is this how the party's control mechanisms work? Is this the path to development and growth in the party?
This is what the person who left "Continue the Change" wrote in a post on Facebook district mayor of "Lyulin" Georgi Todorov, quoted by BNT.
On Monday, Todorov, along with the mayor of "Mladost" Ivaylo Kukurin and municipal councilors Dimitar Shalafov and Dragomir Dragomirov announced that they were leaving the party due to systematic pressure from the leadership of the formation to manipulate public procurement, percentages and redirect funds to the party treasury.
