Two plane accidents occurred in just a few hours on Saturday, NOVA recalls.
In the first, a small private plane crashed in the air, which was landed in Pirin. Three people were injured, but their lives are not in danger. In the second, an agricultural plane also broke down and was emergency landed near Tsalapitsa.
“It is a miracle that the plane landed, because the terrain is steep and grassy”, emphasized the director of the “Pirin” National Park; Rosen Banenski. The altitude is 2,450 m. A park team immediately went to the site to assess whether there was a danger to the environment, but none was found.
The machine is still at the scene of the accident. It will be removed from the area in its entirety or cut up.
Before a plan is drawn up, the investigation into the emergency landing will be awaited. The National Park indicated that the costs of the operation will most likely have to be borne by the owner of the plane.
