A fire has broken out in the sports hall next to the Burgas stadium "Neftohimik", the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Burgas announced.
Two fire trucks and six firefighters have been sent to the scene. The fire has been extinguished.
According to preliminary data, about 30 square meters of the floor of the room have burned.
The cause of the fire was construction and repair work on the roof, during which hot debris fell inside the hall and caused an ignition.
There are no reports of people injured in the incident, the police specify.
