PP MP Iskren Arabadzhiev is shaken by the content of the leaked anonymous audio recordings related to the scandal surrounding “We Continue the Change”.
“I was shaken by the content, because in 4 years I have never witnessed such words. It talks about percentages, adjusting public procurement. The people who entered the PP with the anti-corruption rhetoric should stay, and the people who have such thoughts should leave”, he explained to NOVA NEWS.
And he called on anyone who has any evidence regarding corrupt practices and pressure in the Social Security Administration to show it. According to him, this way the party will really be able to cleanse itself and move forward with policies and actions.

„I think that nothing will be achieved in court by either the Prosecutor's Office or the Anti-Corruption Commission, because we do not have a real fight against corruption. I did not want to be deputy mayor. I talked to Kiril Petkov later and it turned out that a year ago, after the parliamentary elections, colleagues from the headquarters had proposed several people as potential names who could join their teams after we were no longer in parliament. I told them that I have a commitment to Lovech, so I work for the region and I would not like to have any position in Sofia”, he explained.
And he was categorical that he had not spoken to Ivaylo Kukurin.
„I met him once about a month ago at an event in the "Mladost” region, but otherwise we have not discussed anything on work issues", he explained.
When asked whether Nikola Barbutov's candidacy was discussed in a broader format by the leadership of Continuing the Change, he answered the following:
„I have no memory of it being discussed at the National Council or at any other broader meeting. For me, this is a local task that must be completed and does not depend on a decision of the National Council or a larger body”.
► We recall that a few days ago a corruption scandal broke out with mayors and municipal councilors of the party in the Sofia Municipality. The accusations that were made against them are about pressure from the party leadership to conclude public procurement contracts with certain companies.
