The Cabinet will discuss today a draft decision on monitoring the prices of goods and services in the process of introducing the euro in the country. This is provided for in the agenda of the regular weekly government meeting, the press service of the Council of Ministers announced, quoted by BTA.
Yesterday, the EU Council unanimously voted on the final decisions related to Bulgaria's admission to the eurozone from January 1 next year. This concludes the procedure, after the European Parliament had earlier also approved by a large majority the report on the introduction of the single European currency by our country.
The agenda of the government meeting contains 20 items. The Cabinet will also discuss a decree approving additional expenditures under the budget of the National Security Service for 2025, as well as additional transfers under the budget of the Ministry of Defense for 2025.
Additional expenditures under the budget of the Ministry of Environment and Water for 2025, planned for the preliminary implementation of the Project “Integration of the ecosystem approach and implementation of nature-friendly solutions in the protection of Natura 2000 protected areas“, are also part of the agenda.
The government is also expected to discuss amendments to three laws – State Property Law, Preschool and School Education Law, and Recognition of Professional Qualifications Law.
