The reproaches directed at the Prosecutor's Office are appropriate. The anti-corruption actions are currently directed at only one of the political sectors, namely the PP-DB. This was said in an interview for "Osche ot djenja" by attorney Emil Georgiev from "Pravosudzie za vkeski".
"A smokescreen was also raised around "Botash" in order to put a false equal sign and show that there are no more preferred or less preferred ones. There is no evidence that the Prosecutor's Office is working on "Botash" along the lines of an organized crime group, is the question to be asked where is Mr. Malinov and why is he not being investigated. We did not see anyone being asked for a measure of "detention in custody", he added.
According to him, the most likely idea in this case is to turn the PP-DB into a convenient systemic opposition.
"In both cases, we are talking about corruption suspicions that come from the kitchen - both at Sofia Municipality and in Varna. We are not talking about investigations based on media correspondence or anonymous signals. We are talking about actions by investigative and investigative bodies, provoked by witness statements of important people in the respective municipalities.
"It is very disturbing that the deputy mayor of Sofia Municipality and the mayor of Varna Municipality are in a situation in which senior management have doubts about their behavior and commitment to corruption schemes,", noted in turn Petar Kicashki - co-owner of a sociological agency "Gallup".
He sarcastically remarked: "I didn't know that Adv. Georgiev was the lawyer for the investigated".
"I'm not", Georgiev replied.
