The Parliament elected Assen Vassilev from the PP-DB as Deputy Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs and Control of European Funds of the National Assembly, BTA reports. The decision was made with 162 votes "for" and 31 "abstains".
Stoyu Stoev from the PP-DB, who was dismissed from the composition of the Committee on Labor and Social Policy, was elected as a member of the Committee on European Funds. His place in the social committee was taken by Venko Sabrutev.
Vasil Stefanov was elected as a member of the Committee on Demographic Policy, Children and Family and the Committee on Energy, replacing Nikolay Denkov and Venko Sabrutev, respectively.
The changes in the composition of the standing committees are in connection with the swearing-in of a new member of parliament - Vasil Stefanov from the PP-DB, replacing Kiril Petkov, who resigned.
